Towards sunset

A guided excursion that begins with a short electric boat ride along the Cervia Salt Pan's surrounding canal, at the most suggestive time of day. This short journey on the water takes us to the jetty, from here on foot we penetrate into the heart of the Salina, among stretches of water and the nature that lives free here, for a slow and authentic experience, immersed in the flora and fauna of this unique ecosystem.

This is one of the most popular excursions in Salina!

On board an electric boat (very simple, with wooden benches for up to 35 people) we sail along the surrounding canal to discover a magical environment, to reach the heart of the Salina, where we disembark and take a 500 m walk (round trip) on the banks. We discover the secrets of the Salina surrounded by the warm colours of sunset and admire unique landscapes.

In the spring/summer period, the route is naturalistic: the Salina is full of pleasant surprises and we can observe the birds hatching, courtship, the care of the young and nest defence techniques.
In the late summer/autumn period, the route changes and we explore the productive salt marsh and the secrets of sweet salt, observe the silt and Artemia salina. To reach the site, one passes under a small brick bridge (and has to duck).

Along the boat ride and the walk, our guide provides us with information and interesting facts about the typical flora and 'salt-loving' plants.

Enveloped in the warm colours of the sunset, we have an experience to remember!
